ENGLAND’S TEAM PULSE CROWNED 2008 F1 IN SCHOOLS WORLD CHAMPIONS  (May 05, 2008)

Team Pulse from Devonport High School for Boys, Plymouth, UK have lifted the Bernie Ecclestone Trophy as they were crowned 2008 F1 in Schools World Champions at World Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


F1 in Schools gears up for 2008 World Championships (March 13, 2008)

Over three days of enthralling competition (18th-20th March 2008), 25 teams will pit their miniature F1 cars against each other along a 20-metre two lane track. Last year’s winners, Team Fuga from Northern Ireland stole the show when they set a new world record of 1.020 seconds to edge closer to the elusive one second barrier.


Malaysia to host World Championship 2008 (January 11, 2008)

Malaysia has won the right to host the next F1 in Schools 2008.  F1 in Schools Ltd. recently announced that the fourth World Championship will take place in Kuala Lumpur.  The event will be held at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel from 18 to 20 March 2008.  A total of 25 teams from 18 different nations are expected to attend this event in a bid to win the Bernie Ecclestone World Championship Trophy. 


RMC boys win Petronas National Final 2007 (January 11, 2008)

Team Rapid Blaze from the Royal Military College bagged the coveted Formula One Technology Challenge overall champion held at Berjaya Times Square, KL.  They beat 29 other school teams from all over Malaysia.  The first runner-up is Aero Limiter Virtuoso from Sekolah Alam Shah followed by The Excaliburs from SMK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam as the second runner-up.  These top three teams will represent Malaysia in the F1 in Schools World Championship 2007/08.

On top of winning the Malaysia first podium placing, Mercurial Ace from SMK Convent Bukit Nanas showed that winning is also about values and the heart, landing them with the Outstanding Sportsmanship Award, an award specially made for them, at the F1 in Schools World Championship 2007 at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. 

This demonstrates the values of the programme, in which students not only learn about technical and scientific knowledge but also various soft skills and wholesome values, in conjuction with the Ministry of Education's mission to generate wholistic and quality human resources for the future.


Team Aerobreaker the Record Breaker! (July 07, 2006)

Malaysia's team Aerobreaker proved their win in the national level competition was no fluke when they recently bagged the Fastest Car Award in the second International F1 In Schools  The Formula One Technology Challenge in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
